Let the room make the final decision
A wide sofa
Put viewing angle ahead of a peak-brightness headline. We would start with the C5 or G5 when people regularly sit well off center. A showroom view straight in front can hide a poor fit for your side seats.
Windows and daylight
Indirect daylight and a window reflected in the screen are different problems. The U8QG is the bright LCD option here; the G5 also handles bright rooms well. Repositioning the screen or adding a blind can matter more than another specification.
Console, PC and soundbar
Count every input you need, including the one used by an eARC soundbar. Both LGs offer four HDMI 2.1 ports; the Hisense offers three. Choose by the devices you actually use rather than the largest Hz number.

The 65-inch C6 is OLED65C6PUA.AUS · 65-inch · 2026. RTINGS tested this size and describes an incremental upgrade over the C5, including improvements in some HDR scenes and smoother color gradations. It also supports up to 4K/165Hz with compatible PC hardware, versus the C5’s 4K/144Hz. These are not console frame-rate guarantees.
Choose the C5 when your actual ready-to-use offer saves enough to make those differences unimportant to you. If the totals are close or the C6 costs less, investigate the C6 before defaulting to the older model. We do not assume a clearance discount, prescribe a universal premium, or treat a crossed-out MSRP as your saving.
This exact 65-inch C6 is not the larger C6H. Do not transfer that model’s panel results to it. Match the television-only package, included stand, seller and return terms; a protection-plan bundle is a different offer.

Is an older model worth buying?
It can be, when its complete delivered offer is compelling. These are 2025 models, not a roundup of the newest 2026 releases. Compare the C5 with the C6 and the G5 with the G6 before paying close to the newer model’s price.
What if I need a cheaper TV?
The TCL QM6K is worth a separate look as an entry-level Mini-LED. RTINGS’ testing (opens in a new tab) found useful gaming features but weaker HDR impact and direct-reflection handling. Compare that compromise with your budget; this shortlist does not promise a current Amazon price ceiling.
Will the TV fit my furniture?
Measure cabinet width and depth, stand footprint and the route into the room. The 65-inch measurement is the screen diagonal. Confirm the supplied stand or wall mount and how a damaged large TV would be returned. Check the full offer before ordering.
