Use exact-model specifications to establish features, then look for independent pickup and obstacle tests on floors like yours. BestOnAmz has not performed hands-on cleaning tests on these robots. The checks below help separate a published feature from a result you can expect in your own home.
For hardwood, map the whole route: edges where debris gathers, rugs the robot must cross, moisture preferences and grit that should be removed before a mop pass.
Do not use a universal Pa cutoff to decide whether a robot will clean your carpet. Compare exact-model tests of fine dust, larger debris and embedded hair, and check the power mode used. For example, Roborock qualifies the Qrevo Edge suction figure as a full-battery Max+ laboratory result; that is not a measured pickup score for your floor.
Treat navigation and hazard recognition as separate questions. A floor map does not show that the robot will avoid a charging cable, sock or pet accident. Look for tests using those objects on the exact model, plan to clear loose clutter, and supervise its first runs. A sensor label alone is not a guarantee.
Check how the exact robot handles mopping around your rugs: lifting, removing the mop or avoiding the area. Compare the documented lift with the rug pile and fringe, and verify the relevant app setting. If damp contact would be unacceptable, plan a no-mop area or separate vacuum-only run rather than assuming auto-lift protects every rug.
Self-emptying, water refilling, mop washing and drying are separate functions. List which are included in the exact dock bundle, then check its care schedule for dirty-water disposal, clean-water refills, brushes, filters and the wash tray. Compare replacement bags or bagless-bin cleanup, and leave room to remove tanks. Automation changes the chores; it does not eliminate maintenance.

Debris trapped around wheels or brushes is a practical risk on any floor. Keep the robot and route clean and follow the flooring maker's care guidance.
Only if damp cleaning suits your floor and you will maintain the pads and water system. Vacuum-first operation is simpler when moisture is a concern.
Check dock width, depth and height, furniture clearance, thresholds, rug transitions and space to remove tanks, bags or pads.
