Count the top, frame and everything required to use it

Both identified listings describe full desk kits, rather than frame-only starting prices. Confirm that the exact offer still includes the selected desktop, frame, motor and controller. Assembly is required; a complete kit does not imply installation service or optional accessories.

Use the actual delivered desk total, tax, required assembly help and any accessories you need to make the setup usable. For example, a hypothetical $450 delivered kit plus $60 of required accessories is $510 and fails a $500 total cap. Do not double-count tax or shipping already in the delivered quote.

Use working height as an elimination test

Measure the keyboard surface that works for you while seated and standing. A required seated surface of 29 inches is below the 1B’s 29.3-inch manufacturer minimum; the B0’s published 28.6-inch minimum encompasses it. This is an illustrative fit comparison, not a recommendation for a person of a particular height.

At a required standing surface of 48 inches, the current 1B range encompasses the target and the B0 range does not. Neither desk by itself meets a seated surface below its published minimum. Measure your own positions rather than relying on a body-height chart.

The B0 Amazon listing contains conflicting height figures: feature bullets say 28.6–46.7 inches, while another table says 28.7–46.8. We use current VIVO specifications and flag the discrepancy rather than combining the most favorable endpoints. Seek confirmation if your fit is near a limit.

Separate top construction from lifting performance

The 1B has a one-piece top; the B0 uses three panels. Panel joints can affect where you prefer to write or place equipment, but their presence alone does not establish wobble or durability. Lay out your equipment within the actual 59 × 23.6-inch dimensions rather than assuming the marketed 60 × 24 label is an exact measurement.

Both are single-motor kits. Published lift capacity is a manufacturer specification, not a measurement of screen movement while typing. We have not established a stability, noise or lifespan winner. Check monitor-arm clamping and instructions for the exact top and frame; do not infer compatibility from weight capacity alone.

Choose controls you will actually use

The 1B’s four memory presets allow saved height positions. The B0’s two-button up/down controller does not offer those presets. If you alternate often or share a desk, decide whether returning to saved positions matters before comparing small price differences.
